She became especially uncomfortable, she said, when Dr. Kalloo began breathing heavily as he became aroused by what he was doing with her. She told detectives she never returned to him after that.
Detectives received four more calls about Dr. Kalloo after that.
Particularly disturbing to authorities was how Dr. Kalloo conducted himself when one of his sexual assault victims returned to his clinic to confront him --- after discussing with police detectives what had happened to her. This patient --- in her thirties who saw Dr. Kalloo as her primary care physician --- previously, had ended up in a locked examination room with him with her panties pulled down and his fingers doing all the wrong things in all the wrong places. Afraid she was wearing a police wire to secretly record his confession when she confronted him about what he had done to her --- she told police Dr. Kalloo scribbled down little notes on scraps of paper --- which he balled up and then flushed down the toilet after he showed them to her. On these balled-up scraps of paper --- he wrote: "I lost control" and "I made a big mistake."
West Palm Beach police headquarters notified the Office of the State Attorney for Palm Beach County which --- after it reviewed the evidence --- decided to press sex offender charges against Dr. Kalloo.
Dr. Kalloo was arrested and charged with using his position as a medical doctor to gain sexual satisfaction from his female patients --- the charge was CRIMINAL SEXUAL BATTERY.

As Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. soon discovered after his arrest, when a Florida medical doctor is arrested and charged with fondling his patients --- the Florida Board of Medicine is obliged to take action to protect the public safety.
The Florida Board of Medicine advised Dr. Kalloo that his license to practice medicine was restricted to treating MALE PATIENTS ONLY. To help him remember that women who come in for medical care are patients and not 'sex toys' --- the Board fined him almost $28,000.00.
Dr. Kalloo has proclaimed his innocence. In addition, his lawyer told the press that Dr. Kalloo is not guilty.
Perhaps as Dr. Kalloo says --- he is completely innocent.
