Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. | Detox Specialist
West Palm Beach, FL / June 2012
Dr. Shaheed Kalloo of the West Palm Beach section of Palm Beach County, FL, is one physician in Florida who is convinced that drug pushers shouldn't be the only ones to make money off of drug addicts. Dr. Kalloo offers medical treatment and drugs to drug addicts to help overcome their addiction.
Feeding at the trough of medical insurance money like so many other physicians, Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. is there to help --- to make his fair share too, off of drug addicts.
.
How about some background information on Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. such as where is he from? Where did he attend medical school? Some patients appreciate having a bit of background information before going in to see a physician in Florida.
Even as a very young man, Shaheed Kalloo was ambitious. He figured he might be able to get ahead in the United States if he had a medical degree.
Attending medical school --- if he could figure out how to get into one --- could provide the very opportunity he was looking for --- to leave the past behind and cash in on medical insurance money for doctors --- in the land of endless opportunity --- America.
He amazed even himself by getting into and graduating from Yale Medical School.
Success! The plan was working. America said 'yes' and Dr. Kalloo, as a medical school graduate, could now complete his residency training. So far... so good.
Dr. Kalloo was quick to say "I'll do it" when Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Yeshiva University (located in the Bronx, NY) --- said it was willing to allow him to complete his residency training there --- in internal medicine.
Now a doctor, he migrated to the Royal Palm Beach section of Palm Beach County --- where he now resides at Spa At Sunset Isles Condo, Unit #1111, 10324 Fox Trail Road S., Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
The plan was to find a way to tap into an endless supply of drug addicts in Palm Beach County who were covered by some form of medical insurance --- and then hook up with treatment centers or create his own rehab clinics in low-income, African-American neighborhoods filled with thousands of drug addicts who require medical intervention and can use their taxpayer-funded Medicaid benefits to get help --- where patients could be seen in large numbers --- followed by submitting endless billings to Medicaid and a string of other insurance carriers.
To beef up daily billings to Medicaid and HMO insurance plans --- Dr. Shaheed Kalloo would offer these drug addicts and members of their families --- his services to be their primary care physician. His training in internal medicine provides a good medical background to support his role as primary care doctor or family practitioner.
Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. settled on drug addiction treatment centers he found or founded in West Palm Beach, FL --- (ALL CARE MEDICAL SERVICES / Intermed Services, a medical clinic located at 1115 45th Street, Suite 1A, West Palm Beach, FL 33407, Phone (561) 845-2081) --- and in Lake Worth, FL (ALL CARE MEDICAL SERVICES / Intermed Services, 7556 Lake Worth Rd. in Lake Worth, FL --- and in Riviera Beach, FL at 155 E Blue Heron Blvd. in N. Riviera Beach, FL.
With health insurance proceeds rolling in, treating drug addicts and providing them with medications, and treating them and members of their family as their primary care physician, Dr. Kalloo was now able to put behind him --- once and for all --- the challenges he faced in his early life.
When you've been arrested and prosecuted by state authorities in Florida for being a sex offender who preys sexually on your own patients --- and when the Florida Board of Medicine has nearly taken away your medical license and fined you over $27,000 for sexually preying on your own patients and has had to limit your medical license to treating 'male patients only' out of fear of what you might do to your own patients --- you're not exactly anxious to go into little details such as these --- with patients in your care. Some patients could take it the wrong way and decide you might not be quite the right fit for them.
That's why treating drug addicts is perfect for Dr. Kalloo! They don't ask a lot of questions.
When was the last time you heard a strung-out drug addict ask her addiction doctor at a drug rehab clinic in a crime-ridden, African-American neighborhood --- with her drug addiction doctor about to hand her powerful medications to calm the shakes --- "Oh Doctor, have you ever been arrested for sexually fondling female patients like me?"
Yes --- for Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. --- there are those special 'side benefits' of treating neighborhood drug addicts of the female persuasion.
For Dr. Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. --- when he feels those primal urges coming on --- drug addict patients (at least the female variety) can be a 'very special opportunity' because --- they're usually too strung out to think to ask: "Dr. Kalloo, how many times have you been arrested by police and charged with groping and fondling patients like me?"
Also --- when the ladies arrive at the clinic in a 'daze' and high on drugs --- later on, they may have a hard time remembering what happened when they were with Dr. Kalloo in the 'examination' room.
In addition to his practice at All Care Medical Services and at Intermed Services, Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. is affiliated with Columbia Hospital, 2201 45th St., West Palm Beach, FL 33407 --- although due to the criminal sexual conduct charges which the West Palm Beach Sheriff's Department and the Office of the State Attorney for Palm Beach County brought against Dr. Kalloo --- and due to the state of Florida restricting Dr. Kalloo's medical license and fining him over $27,000 on account of the Medical Board finding him to be a sex offender and risk to his patients --- that 'affiliation' may soon be terminated.
A STEADY FLOW OF DRUG ADDICTS KEEPS POURING IN DAILY
TREATING DRUG ADDICTS HAS MEANT THE 'GOOD LIFE' IN AMERICA --- BUT
SHAHEED KALLOO, M.D. NEEDS A DRUG TO CONTROL HIS OWN SEXUAL URGES
Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. best known to his many drug addict patients as a 'drug addiction specialist' --- focuses on drug addiction rehabilitation for drug addicts at the drug rehab clinics at which he practices drug addiction medicine in Palm Beach County, FL. He sees many local patients as their primary care physician, as well.
Not far from the rehab clinics, Dr. Kalloo lives in the nearby Royal Palm Beach neighborhood.
Day in and day out --- a steady flow of drug addicts comes and goes. In Florida, there is no shortage of drug-addicted individuals who require medical treatment --- heroin addicts, drug addicts addicted to different kinds of drugs of all sorts, and substance abusers addicted to pain medications.
If you're an addict and you want to see a detox doctor like Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. --- you've got to be covered by some form of health insurance. That's important to Dr. Kalloo. He wants to collect insurance money for your office visits. Addicted? No problem --- if you've got health insurance coverage or government assistance such as Medicaid, the doctor is in.
For many years --- feeding at the trough of insurance proceeds for treating drug addicts --- has meant the 'good life' in America for Dr. Kalloo.
Then --- just as haunting memories of his early childhood years were beginning to fade from memory ---
SURPRISE!!
How fast circumstances can change!
Who would have guessed that one of the primary care 'fondle-ees' whom Dr. Kalloo examined in the 'examination' room --- would suddenly go to police after what happened while she was 'examined' by Dr. Kalloo, alone.
This patient, a women in her thirties, had some information for authorities --- that Shaheed Kalloo, M.D., her physician, locked her in the 'exam' room and slipped off her panties and then did things to her which crossed over every boundary and forced her to report him to the police.
Right before this happened, as her primary care physician he had been counseling her concerning pain which she related to Dr. Kalloo she had been experiencing in that area.
She reported to police in her sworn, videotaped statement, that he locked the door of the exam room behind her --- then pulled her panties down --- and began doing things which he knew were very wrong.
Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. must have thought she wouldn't do anything --- but she did. This presented a real problem for Dr. Kalloo --- especially when after her 'session' with Dr. Kalloo had come to an end --- she marched straight over to the West Palm Beach Sheriff's Department to report what happened.
Oh no! This isn't good --- time to call the lawyer.
Dr. Kalloo's criminal sexual contact prompted the Office of the State Attorney for Palm Beach County Sex Crime/Child Abuse Unit and the West Palm Beach Sheriff's Department to jointly investigate Dr. Kalloo --- an investigation which led to his arrest. After more evidence unfolded, the County formally charged Dr. Kalloo with the crime of criminal sexual contact.
It didn't take investigators long before another former patient came forward to describe a similar scenario which she had experienced while under Dr. Kalloo's 'care'.
In a taped, sworn statement --- this former Kalloo patient told police that Dr. Kalloo molested her for nearly ten minutes while breathing heavily --- making her very uncomfortable. After she realized what he had done to her in the exam room, she never returned after that.
An additional four phone calls came in from former patients --- as ex-patients contacted the detective on the case.
Dr. Kalloo was arrested on charges of criminal sexual battery. He was released from jail after posting bail.
The Florida Board of Medicine --- once informed that Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. had been arrested as a sex offender --- was required by law to hold a hearing as to his fitness to practice medicine.
Unfortunately for Dr. Kalloo --- the evidence presented to the Board was very strong against him --- strongly pointing to his guilt as a sex offender physician.
The Florida Board of Medicine considers sexual misconduct to be one of the more egregious betrayals of patient trust in a doctor.
Dr. Kalloo's extreme lack of candor with the Board --- did not work in his favor.
At his hearing, Florida Board of Medicine disciplinary panel members determined that Dr. Shaheed Kalloo's lack of candor with the police, with investigators, and with the Board, pointed to such a flawed judgment that he represented an imminent danger.
[1] "I lost control."; and [2] "I made a big mistake." According to one of his former patients whom he fondled while alone with her, Dr. Kalloo expressed remorse for his misconduct in a most unusual way. When she returned to his clinic to confront him about what he had done to her --- he wrote those messages down on small slips of paper --- showed them to her --- and then balled them up and flushed down the toilet.
That evidence, plus the testimony of his victims, in conjunction with the other evidence in the case, pointed to only one conclusion --- that Dr. Kalloo was guilty of sexual misconduct.
Some of the violations which the Board determined that Dr. Kalloo had committed, included a violation of Section 456.072(1)(u), Florida Statutes 2005, which sets forth grounds for disciplinary action for engaging or attempting to engage in sexual misconduct as defined and prohibited by Section 456.063(1), Florida Statutes.
Pursuant to Section 456.063(1), Florida Statutes, sexual misconduct in the practice of a health care profession means violation of the professional relationship through which the health care practitioner uses such relationship to engage or attempt to engage the patient in verbal or physical sexual activity outside the scope of the professional practice of such health care profession. Sexual misconduct in the practice of a health care profession is prohibited.
At his disciplinary hearing, the Florida Board of Medical Examiners, in view of the evidence, found Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. guilty of gross and repeated malpractice and professional misconduct.
In addition to restricting his medical license to 'male patients only', the Board 'threw the book' at Dr. Kalloo. He was required to pay a $10,000 fine, plus reimburse the state of Florida some $17,365.14 for costs and fees which it had incurred prosecuting him.
Do you have information concerning Shaheed Kalloo, M.D.? Have you or a member of your family been the victim of inappropriate sexual advances initiated by Dr. Kalloo? If so, the West Palm Beach Sheriff's Department encourages you to contact them at (561) 688-3000.
FL MEDICAL BOARD RESTRICTS SHAHEED KALLOO, M.D. MEDICAL LICENSE
FORMALLY FINDS DR. KALLOO GUILTY OF SEXUALLY FONDLING PATIENTS
MEDICAL LICENSE RESTRICTED TO 'MALES ONLY' --- NEARLY $28,000 IN FINES
As Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. is now aware, male physicians who sexually molest their female patients in the office --- is something which keeps the Florida Board of Medicine awake at night. It's a real problem.
When it was brought to their attention by the Office of the State Attorney for Palm Beach County that patients had come forward to police with reports of sexual fondling and groping by Dr. Kalloo --- the Florida Board of Medicine had no choice but to conduct a formal hearing on his fitness to practice medicine in the state of Florida.
The medical community, and the drug addiction community --- in making its own decision concerning Dr. Kalloo --- needs to remain fair and balanced. In America, a physician accused of sexually molesting his patients is considered innocent until proven guilty.
Once Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. gets out of this mess and his medical license is restored in Florida --- as long as women are not concerned that he might try to 'cop a feel' during the examination --- female drug addicts, eventually, will be free to return to his care. That may occur when Dr. Kalloo's attorney is finally able to convince Board members at the Florida Board of Medicine that Dr. Kalloo is sufficiently rehabilitated that he no longer represents a threat to female patients.
If the 'male patients only' restriction is lifted --- warning signs are required by law to be posted on the walls of any medical facility in which Dr. Kalloo treats female patients --- warning female patients that he is required to have a female healthcare professional in the room at all times to serve as a chaperone for the safety of female patients.
Even if Dr. Kalloo is guilty as the Florida Board of Medicine found him to be --- keep in mind that psychiatric treatment which Dr. Kalloo is now undergoing for sex addiction may succeed in helping him to overcome his urge to grope and fondle his female patients. If psychiatric treatment heals Dr. Kalloo --- ultimately it may be safe for women drug addicts to once again return to his office for treatment.
The origin of Dr. Kalloo's propensities with his female patients may be cultural in nature. Before rushing to judgment, perhaps prospective substance abuse patients seeking a detox doctor should consider where Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. is from.
In the community in which Shaheed was raised --- men may sexually abuse women on a regular basis. This may be all that Shaheed was ever exposed to growing up --- leaving him confused and uncertain as to how he should treat women in modern-day American society.
If he was left unable to understand that sexually fondling his female patients is wrong --- although it may seem like an implausible defense --- perhaps Shaheed is not entirely to blame.
Could it be possible that Dr. Kalloo may not have even realized that he was doing anything wrong when --- acting as her primary care physician counseling her concerning pain she was experiencing in that area --- he pulled down her panties and began doing things which upset her so much --- she reported him to the police?
Is it possible that Dr. Kalloo --- culturally traumatized by being suddenly immersed in American society --- hasn't fully adjusted to some of the differences in social norms between how he was raised --- and the obligations imposed upon him by laws in the state of Florida?
Some people will say, "C'mon, that sounds like a completely worthless defense to me!"
But what if Dr. Kalloo hasn't fully made the transition from how he was raised --- to modern-day women's rights in America --- at least in his own mind?
To hear his female patients describe Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. doing what he did to them sexually while they were supposed to be in his medical care --- may sound upsetting to many female patients, that's true.
However, in Dr. Kalloo's defense, should the Florida Board of Medicine and the local community in Palm Beach County, FL be as strict with Dr. Shaheed Kalloo as they would be toward an American-born physician who perhaps was taught entirely different standards for how men are supposed to treat women?
Could this episode which got his license restricted --- of Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. sexually fondling his young female patients --- have been more of a misunderstanding than a knowing violation of his patients' sexual boundaries?
Dr. Kalloo might have believed that these young, drug-addicted patients were simply sending subtle signals that they wanted to have sex with him.
Was there something these patient wanted from Dr. Kalloo --- drugs perhaps?
Did these female patients attempt to seduce Dr. Kalloo and, flattered by the attention, he fell for it? Did these patients end up going to police with their complaints about sexual fondling because they were disappointed when no drugs were forthcoming from Dr. Kalloo?
The West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, and Riviera Beach, FL communities may never know the answer to these questions.
However, once Dr. Kalloo's attorney helps Dr. Kalloo make his fondling and groping legal problems go away --- a woman who is drug-addicted and needs medical help should be able to once again make an appointment to see him for drug addiction medicine or for everyday primary care. After what he went through with the police and the legal system --- with the state of Florida restricting his medical license and fining him over $27,000 --- the embarrassment and humiliation of the entire experience may have left Dr. Kalloo an entirely reformed individual.
The Florida Board of Medicine now requires a nurse chaperone to be present in the examination room at all times when Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. is examining female patients --- but that's not an unusual requirement when the Board reinstates the license of physicians who had their medical license restricted for being charged with being a sexual predator.

SHAHEED KALLOO, M.D. TREATS HEROIN ADDICTION WITH BUPRENORPHINE
HE USES BUPRENORPHINE THERAPY TO TREAT ADDICTION TO PAINKILLERS
DO YOU HAVE A SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEM? ADDICTED TO MEDICATIONS?
SEE HIM AT ALL CARE MEDICAL SERVICES & INTERMED SERVICES
Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. --- primary care doctor specializing in drug addiction medicine in Palm Beach County, FL --- uses an FDA approved opioid addiction treatment known as Buprenorphine --- to treat patients who have become addicted to heroin and addicted to painkillers such as Percodan, Vicodin, Oxycontin, and Percocet.
Even though Buprenorphine itself is an opioid --- but the maximal effects are less than other more dangerous opioid treatments like Methadone.
Buprenorphine is an excellent drug addiction medicine when administered in low dosages as it enables patients to stop misusing drugs --- while avoiding suffering intense withdrawal symptoms. For heroin addiction, and for addiction to habit-forming medications such as Percodan, Vicodin, Oxycontin, Oxycodone, and Percocet, Buprenorphine is widely used to help drug addicts overcome their substance abuse challenges.
Dr. Kalloo uses Buprenorphine therapy to treat heroin addiction, morphine addiction, opium addiction, Oxycontin addiction, Oxycodone addiction, Hydrocodone addiction, Codeine addiction, Vicodin addiction, Percocet addiction, and Percodan addiction --- addictive substances which Dr. Kalloo has found responsive to Buprenorphine treatment.
Are you currently in withdrawal from habit-forming painkillers or from heroin or opium? At All Care Medical Services and at Intermed Services, Dr. Shaheed Kalloo can help you overcome your addiction with Buprenorphine.
Sorry --- right now, Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. might not be able to see you if you are a female patient (those intermittent license restrictions for sexually fondling female patients, you understand). However, if the 'males only' restriction has been lifted this month by the Florida Board of Medicine --- Dr. Kalloo may be able to see you afterall --- if you are a female who wishes to begin the three phases of Buprenorphine treatment therapy with Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. as your physician.
The induction phase is where Buprenorphine is medically administered, normally 12 to 24 hours after the patient's last opioid use.
The stabilization phase is where the patient no longer craves opioid, usage has stopped or decreased significantly, and the patient is no longer experiencing side effects.
The maintenance phase is the detox phase --- where patient usage of opioid has ceased. Buprenorphine dosage is steady or ended completely.
Once the Florida Board of Medicine has re-instated the medical license for Shaheed Kalloo, M.D. --- and if the Board has determined that he is sufficiently rehabilitated as to be able to see female patients without acting out his sexual urges to fondle them --- why not schedule an appointment with Dr. Kalloo to begin addiction treatment with Buprenorphine?

SHAHEED KALLOO, MD --- NOW THAT YOU'VE TRASHED YOUR REPUTATION
IN THE FLORIDA MEDICAL COMMUNITY AND IN WEST PALM BEACH, FL ---
NOW THAT YOU'VE BEEN ARRESTED & CHARGED WITH BEING A SEX OFFENDER
NOW THAT FL STATE RESTRICTED YOUR LICENSE FOR BEING A SEX OFFENDER
WILL ANY FEMALE DRUG ADDICTED PATIENTS FEEL SAFE BEING NEAR YOU?
Will the name --- Shaheed Kalloo, MD --- be forever associated with what patients call a 'Kalloo exam' --- which means a session of being sexually groped and fondled by Dr. Kalloo while alone with him in his medical office in the All Care Medical Services clinic in West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, and Riviera Beach, FL?
Dr. Kalloo, now that your reputation as a sexual predator with a physician's license is out in the open --- the question most on the minds of drug addicted women who need medical treatment in the West Palm Beach, FL area --- and in the Riviera Beach and Lake Worth area --- is it safe to be alone with you --- considering the Florida Board of Medicine held a formal disciplinary hearing and restricted your medical license to 'male patients only' --- after it determined you to be a sex offender and a risk to female patients, following your arrest and being charged with criminal sexual battery?
Among drug addicted women and ordinary primary care patients who need medical treatment in the West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, and Riviera Beach communities --- these allegations are a cause for concern.
Dr. Kalloo, not surprisingly, drug addicted women who need medical treatment in Palm Beach County are asking themselves --- can they ever trust you again?
State medical boards are in a constant state of 'high alert' to identify sexual predators in their midst.
State medical boards cannot afford to allow a sexual predator in a physician's gown to bring the medical profession into disrepute.
Most patients will agree that your medical examination room is NOT the place for you to gratify your out-of-control primal urges. Patients are trusting that your FL state medical license means you don't DO things like that!
When you sexually abuse troubled women who are entrusting their drug addiction problem to your care --- and even worse, women who are your primary care patients --- look at the havoc you cause!
The medical board and the police and county prosecutor and court system are forced to come behind you and clean up your mess.
Shaheed, if you sexually fondle already-damaged drug-addicted patients who once had faith in you --- women who were counting on you to help them get better --- you will only make their substance abuse problem worse.
Sadly --- after their experience with you --- some of these women may never feel safe trusting a physician again.
In fairness to Dr. Kalloo, an accused individual is considered 'not guilty' of a crime until actually convicted --- although in Dr. Kalloo's case, the plea deal which he entered into with county prosecutors is considered a conviction.
The Florida Board of Medicine uses its own standard when considering evidence against a sex predator physician --- apart from a conviction in the criminal courts. The Board found there was sufficient evidence to make a formal determination that Shaheed Kalloo, MD is a sex offender and a risk to female patients.
Be fair to Dr. Kalloo as you decide for yourself whether or not a female drug addict --- or a prospective primary care patient --- can trust him.
Keep in mind --- when contacted by reporters, Dr. Kalloo himself and the lawyer he paid to get him off --- both said that he is innocent.
